Well it was a very tuff weak for me;With 6 bad beats that i can remember like right now. I was down like 400 before i played in the Stars $20,000 last night. After 6.5 hours and a few highs and lows i made the Final Table of a 3000 plus field.
After a heated argument with a player named BAP_asshole!!! LOL; I was able to get it in good with JJ all-in vs. a donkey with 1Mill in chips with ATs;Who felt like his hand was good enough to call 600,000 in chips.
I was so close to cashing in on my 1st payday that it really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But i can truly say that i am one hell of a better player when the starting chips are 3000 and 15 min blinds. I really seem to suck when i have to play with a small stack of 1500.
I want to take the time out to thank my homie and good friend JSB1976; For always being around when i have gone deep in these things. He has been at almost all my final tables and so far i have let him down as far as taking one down.
As far as my MTT game goes it's getting alot better than it once was;I am really starting to follow my own rules and stay within myself and my game. As well as also doing my daily poker study at work during down time.
I notice that the more reading and study that i do away from the table;The more solid my game becomes. I have also come to be very familiar with the betting patterns and what they all mean; 3 betting and 4 betting ect ect.
Lastly though are my reads which are getting much better. But this has to be the weakest point of my game. I have lost alot of money because i need to start reading myself as well as the other player and how he see's me.
I also find myself playing in huge pots more than i should ; When i should just be laying the hands down!!!
