As many of you know or may not know;I went broke about two weeks ago. There has been alot of drama going on in my life as of late. So to ease the pain along with the horrible run i have been on with Mtt's. I made a promise to myself so that i would become more competitive. In my heart i know that i am a very above average poker player.But as far as my results have been somewhat otherwise. I feel alot of my lack of success has to do with the levels that i play.Up until the time that i stopped playing i was only a $5 mtt/sng player.Now i feel that in order to have a shot at real money i will have to play the $27.50's and up.
So to fund my bankroll i have decided to work a temp job for a few weeks. I will make 7.50 hr@45hrs per 5 days. This is about $356 a week before taxes;And i plan on making a $100 deposit out the gate. Im really not sure as to how exactly this is going to work.But atleast i will have the money to play at the limits i intend to play.
My first job is going to be building the roll to hit one 27.50 a day. I will work from 4pm-1am and once i get home i plan to play at either 2am or 7am. This way if i go deep in the 2am and final table;I can allow myself 10 hrs to play and still get plenty of rest.If this is the case i should make a cash big enough to take care of my new buisness. And the same applies to the 7am which i will be fresher;And both tourneys will give me the time i need to make work.
My plan is to find one sng for a warm-up;And then use that cash to play whatever limit that i chose to play. But my total deposit will not exceed $135 per week. The rest $180 or so will go toward my home and gas money only. This system will allow me to play 30 multi-table tournaments per month.
During this period it will be required of me to play hard and to play very disiplined. But i have 2 weeks to prepare myself. I will play free-rolls for practice and do alot of studying and reading as well. I know that i can take one of these things down and i will do just that!
