Sorry that i misses a few days if anyone is actually reading this;I just i need to add a site counter so i would know. As of right now my current playing roll is about $23 on Bodog.com/$28 on Fulltilt, and i am busted on Poker Stars right now. I actually had to reload my stars account last night with a $50 Visa gift to go;I used this money to enter the $55,000 rebuy tournament. I have busted out of this tournament three times this week on the bubble. I had three rebuys last night and one add-on,and had 6000 in chips after the first break. I ended up losing to AA vs. KK on a K-7-J flop and A-7 river and turn.
The guy ended beating me with a bigger house;I always tend to think of a reason that i lost a particular hand. And i felt that since i only called his raise pre-flop,I didn't give him credit for having poket aces when they appeared on the board. Had i re-raised him pre-flop i would have been able to put him on Aces on the turn; And these are the kind of mistakes that i have to get away from in order to be a winning player.
Poker is a game of information, and when i just called i didn't get any imformation off of my good holdings.I cannot tell you how many times i have done this;As well as calling off my entire stack early in a tournament with high M. Another problem that i encounter is not making re-raises on the flop when i guy sticks out a probe (small bet) bet.
I have noticed this in my game also; That i am letting peeps of the hook with weak hands after the flop.

Hey Man,
I caught up with your blog when you had posted it on pocketfives just recently. I read a few of your posts as to what you were trying to accomplish with poker and figured Id share my story with you plus some friendly advice.
I am like you, I work third shift 40 hours a week as a baker in Charlotte, NC. I know what the daily grind is, and there is just too much money to not try my hand in poker. Ive been playing for almost two years now.
There are a couple trends I notice with your game.
First, your gonna have to learn bankroll management. You said that your bankroll wasnt a problem. It seems as though you have settled on being a successfull MTT and Sit and go player. Cool. You gotta have a bankroll to do so.
For example, you played in the 55,000 guarentted tonight (Which If Im not mistaken is a $11 rebuy) on stars. I have a friend who has made the final table of this event 3 or 4 times and is constantly in the money in this rebuy format. He is buying in for nearly 110-150 dollars a night with rebuys and add ons. Your 50 just isnt enough cover that. Plus, if your going to build your bankroll away from poker (like with your job) your not going to get the experience playing thousands of hands. It may be boring, but it works.
I played the beginner sit n go's on bodog. First the $4.40's, then they added the 8.80's, and then they added the 17.60's. they pay 5 spots so it will really help your bubble play (which it seems like it could be a weak leg in your game). Also on bodog, those Tourney builder 3.30 sit n gos are easy money to. If you get second you at least get your cash back but placing first pays 26 tourney credits. I have had great luck with thos eplaying my same sit n go game.
On stars, if your playing a tourney you can run a .5/.10 10 max NL cash game to build a roll. Simply play tight as hell and wait for a premium hand. You will get paid off. If you buy into the 3.30 triple shootouts, you can easily make that 3.30 back buy 1 tabling a .5/.10 table.
The bankroll building process was my weak link but as soon as a cut out playing in shit I couldnt afford early, I started making money, because your not worried about blowing your whole roll on AK suited in the bubble of a 25k tourney. With the tourneys your playing, you can forget bubbling into the money. To build the roll you need your going to have to win these things, which requires you to have a roll to take lots of chances.
I know it sucks man but it takes the time to have some money support. Plus the more hands you see the better you are prepared in big tourneys. Your profile says you have over 10k hands played. Most serious pros who are only running 15-25 hours a week online are seeing 10,000 hands in 6 -10 days.
The other thing that is more poker related is your bubble play. I am no pro but I have been making some money, and I have one simple suggestion. It seems like you busted out a few times in a row by rasiing deep in a tourney, not hitting the flop, throwing a continuation bet out there and getting called. If you throw a continuation bet out, and you get called switch to check fold mode. Your hand is probably beat so you should save what oyu have in your stack while its still there.
Just wanted to throw some friendly advice. Im on pocketfives as theyspinnin, if you want to shoot me a message. I play mostly sit n go's on bo dog as theyspinnin, but a friend bet me I couldnr turn 5 bucks into 1,000 in a month on stars so ill be hanging aorund there some too as nick2379.
Best of luck with your game and at the tables!
