"And The Saga Continues" Back to the drawing board!!!

Well i have alot of good new to report although the situation is not quite what i was hoping for. As for now i will be taking about two and a half weeks off from playing real money games. I feel that at this time i need to do alittle more home work poker wise.

November makes this my 11th month of playing poker/fulltime. I have made a few decent cashes in sng's; But nothing that i would deem as a stellar performance. I have worked my ass off to access the knowledge that i have now;And i have done most of this without a poker mentor.

I have taught myself the game of NL Texas Holdem; And for that i am very proud of myself. I have used any and every resource that is at my finger tips and then applied it directly to my game. I have come so far since the Harrington series and i continue to pick up on various styles and techniques.

Yes the road has been very ruff for me;but i have decided to stick to my guns and not be a quitter. I have had good intentions thoughout my life as for as setting goals for myself. The 1st was wanting to be a truck driver and getting my CDL's. I accomplished this goal even though sometimes i felt that i would fail.

Poker has showed me how to be a winner and how to deal with being a loser as well. As funny as it may sound, it has also brought me closer to home. And away from a lifestyle that i now hate.

As like in the first series of poker,when i decided to go back to the lab. I will do so again to work on a few things in my game. I have a few moves that i have added to the tool box!!!!

3.Stack % preflop call/push or the 5-10 rule

I also have a few other tricks in my bag as well; But right now i want to take time off to really focus on 1-6 listed above.

I am trying to work on a formula of play that suits my style of play; As i get bored pretty quickly as i am more of an action junky.

I am currently working on a playing style that allows me to be active early. Such as the mtt's when the blinds are small relative to the stacks; As to build a stack early on instead of sitting on my hands.

I want to bust atleast one player early in the $27.50;And then continue to play small ball for as long as my stack allows.Then when i fall into the next zone of harrington i can then switch gears to my hit and miss game.

Then as the later stages approach i am pretty much a fish in water LOL. I am the least worried about my end game as i am with playing early. I do alot of study of my play in Poker Tracker when i want to get a grips on my game.

One of my biggest worries is playing position correctly,and laying down second best hands. I also need to open my playing range from middle position as well.As I have not yet fully mastered Harrington's Volume One. I have been working deligently however on my reads and putting players on a certain range of hands.

As well as the sb v.s BB and other various situations. All in all i am more happy with what i have picked up on,to add to my game. Now all i have to do is put it all into effect and trust in my better judgements.

Above is a picture of my setup where i spend most of my time. As you can see poker really 3X's your bad habits. Good for me i don't drink anymore or id be drunk right now. Too many soda's and too many smokes and not enuff pussy is very bad for you!!!

I decided to take a long break from girls and sex for awhile while i work on getting my life in order and poker game. Plus god will love me for not having sex out of wedlock for a while.
