Just a quick note as i have decided to play more volume this month. So far i have been able to cash this 360 max and two 20/180 mtt/sng's this month so far. I took a horrible beat at the final table of the 360 max; When my KK ran into JJ and a J hit on the flop sending me to the rail.
I ended up cashing there for right around $200 or so. In another hand from the 20/180 in which i ran very deep,I ended up busting out as the chipleader with right around 11 players remaining. I am a idiot sometimes at the table,and i felt as though i could outplay another donkey with a big stack.As usual i ended up pushing and pushing and ran right into his better hand, as he laughed at me as i headed to the rail.
Anyway overall i am feeling pretty good about my play. As a side note i was never very fond of the 180's or the structures; But so far i am playing them pretty solid but just running like shit once i get deep or have a huge stack. I am also working nights and 12hrs shifts plus weekends,so this is not much of a help as well.
Right now i need to make $400 to hit the $20,000 mark as this blog refers too. I am so so close but yet so far away. It's pretty much been 2 years since i started this blog,and i have come a very long way with my game. Although this year is far from over i am very optimistic about my results for the upcoming 2009 poker season.
I am however just alittle upset about my results this year, but overall i have improved hand over fist as a mtt poker player. I truly hope that October has good things for me and that i run good. I have never really been on a heater or such a thing as of yet; But i there is a first time for everything so.
